Driver Assisted is a Vermont-based nonprofit organization created by the automotive community, for the automotive community. Our mission is to support car enthusiasts, automotive professionals, students, and families facing financial hardship or unexpected challenges. Through community donations, fundraising events, and partnerships within the automotive world, Driver Assisted provides assistance grants, emergency financial support, educational scholarships, help with automotive tools and training, and other resources for people connected to the car community. While our roots are in the European and Volkswagen enthusiast community throughout Vermont and New England, our goal reaches beyond any single make, model, or group—we believe the automotive community is at its strongest when we take care of one another. Whether someone is dealing with an unexpected hardship, pursuing an education or career in the automotive trades, or simply needs a helping hand during a difficult time, Driver Assisted exists to help our community move forward. We are community driven and people focused. We can shift lives.
